PRAYER: Lord God Almighty, our Deliverer, in Your mercy hear our prayer. Lord now especially it seems that there are so many barriers to living this life with freedom and joy. Just as You delivered the Israelites of old on “eagles wings” from a captivity to slavery and death, we know that You can once again rescue and deliver us from the limitations brought to us by this anxious time. Give us strength to persevere in whatever constrained circumstances that we find ourselves in. May we know and believe that you are a God who often works through burdens and crosses – and by believing so, may we be strengthened for the journey no matter how difficult it may seem. We look forward to our final deliverance from sin and death, because of Christ’s victory over them. In His Name we pray. Amen.
